^^ generally Bmw leases can't be extended for more than 3 months unless you have another Bmw on order. Even then i believe the max extension is 6 months from what i was told.
Depending on your budget maybe a pre-owned E9x M3 would be very sweet. Last of the V8 M3's. Another car that i was close to deciding on was the X3 Msport. Payments similar to the 3 series and you get more cargo room.
