There is no incentive for stateside dealers to release the cars since they have not been invoiced and will therefore not be paid for the cars until later. Also, BMW will penalize these dealers since the warranty start date has to be recorded electronically with BMW.

If I were you I would be pushing for the delivery too ... no skin off your back unless there is warranty complications which I dont know how that would play out on the customer side, in the end they have to honor it but you know how those things go in life.
