The tire is fine that way and this has nothing to do with the wheels offset. Personal preference if you like the tires to stretch more or go for the beefy sidewall look.
In my opinion a 10.5 wide wheel needs 295 although i see majority of the folks run 285 and it's fine. The problem with going 295 in the back is that you'll need a different
tire up front with the same rolling diameter because of your Xdrive system.
