I also do this 2-3 times a year, but I'm single and matriculate about my car, so I never drive with dirty clothes, no eating in the car ect. and I'm out of the country half the year.
Got my F11 in May, its only done 4000km since, and the leather has was treated in June and November. Think I have the Merino Leather.
there are some great products out there.
I use Swissvax, and they have a leather cleaner kit.
a cleaner comes in a spray bottle and you wipe it off with a towel.
then you can apply a milk to keep it soft.
there is a brush in the kit for that tough dirt.
