Q1 - No for full Internet your F10 will not work like that it was built before the full Internet Option was released . Maybe a retrofit not sure ?
Q2 - I'd guess you've bought a cheap copy style cable , I've bought a genuine BMW cable and never had one problem with it on my iPhone and iPod always fully working options in idrive and charges too.
