Nope. Terry now uses something called posi-taps so you don't have to cut anything. It leaves a small pinhole in two of the wires that you can easily hide.

sounds good... Let us know if you notice any battery drain issue. I had stage 1 installed and I was not really happy with it so I'm thinking of actually trying stage 2. I'm still hoping other tuners will come out with some other alternative, I would love to see a truly noticeable gain.
