Thanks for the feedback - I'd probably have someone install it for me, like I said... not enough time to mess around with it, especially if it'll be more difficult. If I got a stand-alone detector, I'd probably look at the Escort MAX (heard good things), but it looks like the 9500ci (essentially the 9500ix but built-in) is the most the newest Escort offers for built-in detectors.
Does anyone know if there's any benefit to have the detector and jammer "integrated" like Escort does with their shifter...? I wouldn't think so as the jammer should always be jamming regardless of whether there's something detected (which would be too late)?
