The feedback I've been reading elsewhere on the net also suggests that installing a built-in detector or jammer on a BMW (or most upper-end brands) is something that should be done by a professional due to the complexity (immobilizers/alarms, fuse boxes in the trunk, etc). That said, has anyone with an F10 installed a built-in detector or jammer? What was your experience? I wonder if my BMW dealer would do it - I'd feel much better about them doing it than an indy shop, I think.
