There really is no risk as long as he knows what he's doing and puts the O2 bung in the correct location... All the currently offered downpipes are extremely overpriced (much like everything BMW), but I'm too lazy to do my own and build a jig, so if your guy is willing to give away labor that cheap (turbo flanges alone are about $30 each plus $120 in stainless) he's literally not making anything. That being said, I obviously can't see his welding ability, but if they are decent tell the guy to make a jig and knock a few sets out. |
He said they are going to be 9 bolt. I hope they know where to put the o2 sensor , but if not where is the correct position?
And in general, his exhaust work is pretty inexpensive.
Yah it will be ready today so I'll have some videos up. If they catch any of your guys attention I'll tell him to make a few more.
