Well I think it is time for you to educate your wife that all season tires are a marketing joke. There is no such thing as an "all season tire."
Either way you look at it, you're buying a high performance RWD car and you also live in Chicago- you need both summer and winter tires, so get the sports pack and then buy a set of winter wheels.
