Last thursday i finally picked up my new 520d with the 187hp engine.
Specs are.
M Sport package
Automatic Gear Box
Extended instrument cluster, as in 5GT.
Connected Drive Services
Alu trim polished
Comfort package (Bluetooth professional with USB, PDC, Heated steering wheel, Folding rear seats, Extended climate control and dimming mirrors.)
I went straight from the dealer to put on the rims.
Breyton Race GTP. Matte gun with polished lip.
Specs:
Front 8,5x20 ET 35 with 255/35R20 P Zero's
Rears 10x20 ET 30 with 285/30R20 P Zero's
Im really satisfied! Yes i know i needs to be lower and I'm pending between H&R and Eibachs.
Then i installed double slat grilles, that was an easy fix.
Left the car in the sun for a while, then pulled the OEM ones straight out.
I chose the connected drive option and since i don't have navigation i got a lot more than i though i would. News, weather, mail, calendar, Spotify, Deezer etc. and it all works really good!
When it comes to the engine compared to the older 181hp engine i think its a smoother ride and the torque comes in a wider range..just a little refined compared to the older. The eight speed gear box is just awesome!
All in all I'm very satisfied after a week, next week ill get the windows tinted and hopefully i'll soon get it lowered.
