I test drove a 2012 535 Xdrive a while back and found it handled really well with the DCC in sport. It was a bit too soft in Comfort. I had also tested a 2011 without Dynamic Drive and found the ride had too much body roll. I also tested a 2011 535 Xdrive with M Sport. I found this car to be the best..

No one at the dealership I tested at really seems to know what is going on with the different suspensions.

My colleague recently had his 3 series in for service and has a 2012 528i Xdrive. All I can say is "pitiful". With this base mode's thin rimmed over boosted steering and floaty ride, the car felt like a Buick - something I never thought I'd say about a BMW. The 2011 535 X Drive with M Sport was a car I would have purchased had the price been right.

In Canada, we don't get Adaptive Drive for 2012/13 in the 535, need to have the 550. I also note that the Comfort Seats don't seem to be available in the M Sport (bummer).
