Got around to installing staggered 19" Michelin PS4S tires this weekend. Compared to the stock 18" Conti SSR RF, the PS4S really seems to stick better. Its hard to tell because they still have the mold release that is kind-of waxy. Sound wise, they are just a little bit louder, but the sound is a generic white noise, no whining or thrumming. Really broken pavement has a thumpy sound, but not really bad, just more noticeable in terms of sound. Impacts over things like tar strips and cracks in the pavement are noticeably less. Steering feel seems noticeably better, steering weight is a little heavier, which in my case is good. Highway tracking is very good - a bit better than the SSR. I'll know more when they break in, but so far they are great, and my assumption that a 4S is too much of a performance tire for the F10 seems false.
I installed these on BMW individual 349 LA wheels, 8.5x19 fronts, 9x19 rears. Tires are 245/40 and 275/35.
