OK, so the computer has been acting all kinds of crazy. Ran Malwarebytes, Ad Aware, Norton Antivirus, Spybot. Got the computer to function again, but there are still some serious problems. I have even done system restore, but i am certain that something is SERIOUSLY screwing with my PC. I can not use "ctl alt delete" nothing happens.... no task manager. Spybot report that a hex change was made and i thought it could fix it....NOPE! When i click on any link in a google or yahoo search.... or anywhere for that matter, i get re routed to off the wall sites and porn sites.
and the thing runs SLOW!!!

I got the Windows XP operating system CD that came with the computer, it says "re installation CD" on it. Should i re image the damn thing? If so how do i do this? I have backed up everything important onto my external HD.
Also, I know that i got the updated office, Vista i think, and i have gotten really used to it. Is there a way to keep that? or will the whole OS go to the older XP?
