Complete and utter codswallop
The filter is built into the sump so it would be like changing your engine oil but leaving your old filter place....just doesn't make sense....
Zf on their instructional video counts a service as including changing the sump/filter...
Is this garage definitely zf approved?! Ring zf in Nottingham and ask for your closes protech garage , Noel is a pro-tech garage..
