I have the axel back system from magnaflow and it does come w a resonator. It's huge also. Probably as big as the mufflers themselves. I'm gonna just put the stock one back in this weekend and report back.

Do you mean Catback system? If it's axle back, it will only have the rear 2 mufflers.
So with the front resonator + the 2 rear mufflers, the car still drones at 15 to 22k rpm range?
