im looking into purchasing a 2012 535i actually and i was curious on a few things on this topic.
1) If the car is in drive and auto start/stop is activated (engine shuts off with foot on brake), what happens when you activate the electronic e-brake and let foot off brake?
2) If the car is in drive and auto start/stop is activated (engine shuts off with foot on brake), what happens when you open the door?
reason why I ask is just a concern if its possible that a driver can forget the auto start/stop feature shut off the car instead of the driver, and possibly start up again with the driver out the car. Can this potentially cause accidents?
