As noted, I think you really have to decide how much effort YOU want to put into the correction. There are tons of shops that can make your car's paint perfect. That being said, once your car is corrected, you may want to consider washing your car with the two bucket method using grit guards. Most cars get scratched because people use only one bucket of suds. So you are ultimately taking dirty water with fine grit and rubbing it into your car's clear coat. Hence, thats where the scratches are coming from. Check out any of the detailing forums in how to do the two bucket wash. It's pretty simple. But, it will help maintain your vehicles finish much longer. Good luck.

Check out the forums on either one of these. They have plenty of how to videos. You may decide to do the paint correction yourself. I happen to enjoy it.
