Very tasteless. Will the M Sports ACTUALLY say "M Sport" on the sides? Just seems too much.

That would be horrid as they do seriously look like halogens on the LCI, however I know BMW would never do that.

After seeing the new E class the next gen 5 series has a lot of catching up to do design wise.

This LCI update makes the car look very pedestrian
I know that's your opinion.... but you must be joking. The E Class was the most horrible facelift I've seen in a long time. The front looks like a bad Photoshop joke. There's no flow to the car, they disjointed it by grafting on elements that look to be from another car onto the rigid angular frame.

M-B has all but ADMITTED the E Class is a tremendously flawed design as they had to do an absurdly about-face facelift. BMW has done something remarkable with this facelift: They said "We designed 'PERFECTION' which means it's impossible to truly improve on, but we did anyway, and we would never alter or mess with perfection". The facelift of the E and 5 speak volumes from the design team as to how highly they regard their cars. Clearly the E gets no regard while the 5 gets the highest honor. To note: I came from 3 straight E Classes, the last two being a 2010 and 2011.

I love this facelift as it preserves the dignity and grace of the original design, which is the opposite of what Mercedes did to the E when they basically slapped the original version in the face (and IMO its owners who entrusted Mercedes to design something that would remain timeless during at least its own production run). The F10 I'm certain will be an extremely timeless design, and this facelift further ensures that.
