Greetings everyone, my first post... so let me give you a quick background.

Been a voyeur of the forums for a long time now, just never posted. I bought my wife a 2013 X5 last month since she's always wanted one (traded in her 07 328ci). Well, long story short as I was jealous and finally pulled a trigger on a '11 535i--which I absolutely love.

Here's my question:

I enjoy the connect drive and bmw apps that my wife has on her x5. Is it possible to go back to the dealership and get a firmware upgrade to the 6NR (correct code?) and pay the 250 bucks that BMW Apps usually costs? Or is there any legitimate way to get the google connect, and being able to stream music from my iPhone 4?
