IDrive Query
Last year I had a problem in that the iDrive was stuck part way through an over the air update. In settings and then software I had the option to update the software over the air as well as via USB. The problem was resolved by reinstalling the full iDrive software but I have always had a few concerns since then.
1) the ability to update the software over the air is no longer available
2) on the main menu is now says BMW Services where I am sure it said connecteddrive before. I can still get BMW online, Info Plus etc.
The car was built September 2012 and has the Professional sat nav. Is there anyway of checking that the correct software for the car has been installed as I can't help but think it had been bodged some how.
