Yes, you can. Check the offsets, 9X20 ET26-30, 10.5X20 ET34-38 would be fine with no rubbing for all non-lowered cars.
For the 8.5"-10" the square tires are 245-285, for the 9"-10" they are 255-295. Square setup is more critical to the offset if the car is lowered. The smaller tires will be stretched a bit and let more aggressive offset. If you plan lowering your car, talk to the tire shop first.
