I really want to know what exactly is different between the 520 and 528 n20 engines. It would make sense for some physical difference, but don't they also try to homogulate everything?
If they are the same, I think the tuners would play along and not give similar outputs to ruin the 'game'.
Now just give us some software to de-tune the N52 and let it rev another 1k rpm and get 300PS
No, E300BE & E350BE use the same M276 engine with 3,500cc displacement, only the former is detuned to 252ps.
R300 doesn't get rebate, none of the R-class is eligible for rebate.
The N20 is similar to MB's M271Evo, the lower powered versions cannot be tuned like the higher powered version cos I think they bin the engines by output in the first place.
For the N52 it's difficult to tune unless big changes are made, which may affect reliability & driveability.
