I went back down to the dealership and talked to another shop foreman (2 weeks ago). This was after other my initial communication (2 weeks prior to that) and he said they were definitely aware and that BMW was communicating a fix within the next 7 days (2 weeks ago) and since then I haven't hear back. I've left 3 messages and not even a return call. I guess it's time to go down there and talk to the GM! I at least deserve a call back to tell me they don't have a fix!
