Smile My 530d xDrive F11 with 464 M Performance wheels (and lock bolts max lenght)

Hi everyone,

I just bought a set of staggered BMW 464 M Performance rims for my 530d xDrive F11. They should be there at the beginning of next week.

They'll be equipped with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires that got in this morning. Those tires look great : Label states E/B/70dB and comment look good too on Tirerack: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vr...ac-Vorti_2.htm. I'll tell you know how they ride).

I'm glad I leave the runflat stock tires for theses brand new shoes that tricked me at the Geneva auto show.

I'm also glad that it's the first mod with more up to come.

I'm now thinking about buying a set of 12mm spacers for the front axis and 20mm spacers for the rear.

Wheels specs are :

Front : 8.5Jx20 ET 33 (245/35/20)
Rear : 9Jx20 ET 44 (275/30/20)

My car is not lowered yet but I'm clearly thinking about doing it some day.

Swalsh2333's 550i looks great on those rims : http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=909064

He used 10mm front spacers and 20mm rear spacers.

I've read that we shouldn't use 10mm spacers on our BMW because of vibration it might generate and that 12mm is recommended.

What size / thickness would you get ? Isn't 20mm rear to agressive ? Doesn't look that way on swalsh2333's car but...

Also, I should buy a new set of longer lock bolts because of the spacers. I saw a set of 4 McGard M14x1.25 with a 48mm length that should be ok with 20mm spacers. (Ref. 27231SUB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0048EJOOC)

My question is:

Can I use the same 48mm bolts at the front or do I need to buy another set of 4 McGard M14x1.25 with a shorter length (as Ref. 27230SUB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0048EJOO2) ?

Regards,

V1.
