I had the work done at Gary's Automotive in Kanata based on a suggestion from a friend. I had a number of other good suggestions (thanks bobblehead) but this worked out best for me based on convenience. John, the installer, was maticulous and all turned out well. He cut about an inch and a quarter off of the tips before welding them on.

I know your post I'm responding to is old and you might not even have your 535i anymore, but I was wondering where you bought your tips and diffuser at the time? or if you have a recommendation where I can get nice quality products like you used in 2015. I have a graphite gray 535i that I want to do basically the same thing to. Thanks! - Chip
