has your car had its software upgraded by default when serviced?

as I've just lost my coding virginity and just set auto stop start to last setting via esys 3.18 and 48.3 psdzdata, i was wondering if people here with F10's were finding that dealers were upgrading software when they got theoir car serviced?
I can understand if there are issues with the car but wondered if its a standard procedure.
I'm asking as from what I've read to date , certianly in the US, there seems a reluctance to upgrade software unless there is an issue.

I'm concerned that everytime i get teh car services, I may have to go through the recoding procedure and with new versions of teh data now requireing a newer versio of e-eye and tokens, its going to be a never ending scenario.

So any one in the Uk care to comments, what ths verdicit , do dealers pgrade software as a matter of course when services or only on a as required basis?
