the connectors are the same, and the new iPhone is slightly smaller, so it will plug in for sure. if it doesn't work, then it'll be a software issue.
But i am sure iOS 4 has backward compatibility... so else the existing iPhone 3rd party hardware ecosystem would be fxcked lol~
