3 & 5 series cars are now definitely in different market segments, appealing to a different customer base, from my observation.
A 5-series is a small 7-series, not a bigger 3-series. Just look at the suspension for example, design straight out of a 7-series.
I was driving an F30 for 3 days a few weeks ago, certainly helps you to appreciate the 5-series.
But on the other hand there are guys on here who prefer the 3-series.
