impressed with Adaptive headlights / bi-xenon

Despite owning by 530d for 6 months now, last night was the first time I had completed a journey in the dark on unlit twisty roads.
Up to now, I hadn't really seen any advantage of the adaptive lights around towns and on motorways, but last that changed and felt that the lighting ensured thet I had all of the road evenly lit ahead where it was required.
The bi-xenon was also very useful and not once did I have to overide it.
As soon as the samera picked up on the tailights or headlights of other cars it would set the lights back to dipped beam again.
There were a few occasions where reflections cause it to go back to dipped beam agiain but the whole very good.
I am glad i had these options on the car.

I also found it was very beneficial turning off the control display as that was quite bright against a black outside. With the satnav directions on the HUD, there was no need anyway.
