As far the complaints about the steering goes, I'm not going to pretend there's nothing wrong with the F10's steering, even though I don't own an F10 5-ser or indeed a BMW for that matter, but there are F10 owners in this very forum who reported steering pulling to the right and car wandering on the motorway.
These are serious faults IMO. Must be very wearisome to make endless corrections to keep the car on the straight line at 70-85 mph and even more frustrating than that is the lack of the dealer knowledge on how to solve the problem.
Having said all that, my dad is actually considering a 530d F10 as a replacement for his E320 CDI W211.
