I hit 155 almost every day and I love it. Yes the fuel drops like a freaking rock but I never pay attention until the gas light comes on. I normally cruise around 120mph. The car can definately pull beyond 155, my car is tuned so that affects its powerband. Hartge wont take the limitor off, they mentioned they have been unable to but I think its more like they dont want blown engines coming back. I have had the tach get in the red when accelerating hard but my 550i runs close to 50-125mph times of a non-tuned new m5.
