The legroom is quite amazing, and you feel a long way from the front of the car. I can't decide whether it's more fun driving to the restaurant or being chauffeured home by my wife while I recline the seat and sprawl in the back.

I would say the car handles smaller than it is
Noodles you have been spoiled by the space. If you end up with an F10 sedan loaner for any reason, you will feel like you have been shrink wrapped - especially in the front. The size of this car interior wise in comparison to its stable mate is noticable. Maybe we are in the minority but I don't mind driving a big BMW that handles and peforms well. If I want a smaller rawer performing BMW i'll get an e92 M3 or hop in my r53 Cooper S!
I am seriously considering picking up a low mileage CPO e92 M3, or used 997 4S. Two different cars, but they both possess the visceral performance I look for in vehicles of this type. R35 GTR is also a consideration.
At the end of the day no one has to make excuses for the GT, it is a great car period.
