To answer an earlier question, with the switch in the "A" position, my headlights come on but the dash illumination does not come on (i.e. backlit gauges, orange numerals [instead of white], and night mode in navigation).
So there are three modes - off (or DRL on) / on-dawn/dusk / on-full night.
Apparently a bunch of us are stuck in the middle mode.
So where exactly is the EXTERIOR sensor for the headlights to flip on?
