I was going to go the same route but decided on a 2014 550i only because of the deal you can get. I put the order in a M4 but it was 1k below MSRP only because of the Drive event I was going to sign up for. The MF is .130 and 55% resid on 36/15k. I would be 1150 - 1200 month including taxes so it doesn't make financial sense. No brainer for the 550i with the deal at 3k under invoice plus the engine is very powerful and more practical. Don't get me wrong the M3/M4 is a blast but I will wait a year to look at that again as I can always dump my 535xi I have now and move to the M4. Much better deals next year for sure. Good luck!
