Hey all,

So I'm hoping to get some assistance with a 6WA cluster retrofit for my 535i. I was able to buy an already cleared cluster on ebay that shows 00 miles and has no VIN assigned.
I wanted to confirm if the attached PDF shows the correct instructions for performing the retrofit? I am guessing that I will be starting with section 5 (highlighted) since the cluster has already been cleared.
If someone has done this, is there anything you see that might be missing?
Also, the person I bought the cluster from mentioned that I "might" need to update / change the build date of my vehicle. Can someone provide me with some help on how to verify if that will be required? I did not see that in the attached tutorial so trying to make sure I don't end up with any errors.

Also, is there (and what would be the steps) to create a "backup" of the old setup in case something goes wrong or does not code correctly so I can still have a functional car?
