'11-'12-'13 550i's all have different steering racks

I found this on the RealOEM parts catalog. Each year has a different (superseded) Part Numbers for the rack, meaning it was updated by BMW at least THREE TIMES already. Question is will the '14 LCI have a new rack yet again, or use the '13 rack with a revised software? It would be unusual for BMW to replace the same part so many times, but given the media criticisms maybe they will have yet another new part# in '14. Note the Up To dates, both around the time the new model year gets into production. Has anyone driven an 11/12 and the '13 to compare the difference in feel to the '13? I'm trying to decide if I should order a '13 now to make sure I can get a 6spd tranny, which may go away with the LCI. I'd love the new steering and 63tu motor but gotta have a 6spd.
