Yeah, if you have a brake job, it'll probably more than pay since you'll have $1k+ of bills just for the rotor/pad replacement. Oil changes and other Service II could add up, too, though... although not that high on their own over just an additional year or two with 15k miles/year.
Like I said, I'd forego both plans. I think with a relatively trouble-free 528, it's worth the risk. Of course, anything can happen... but if you'll have the car for only another year or two out of warranty, you're the first owner, you've maintained it well, etc... I think the risk is low than you'll spend more than $5k in collective maintenance and repairs during that time.
