We can argue that the biggger engines don't even need a sport setting, let alone a sport auto. To me it is nothing to do with engine output, but for options and/or better control. Don't forget it allows steering weighting to be modified as well.

And it's the best bargain of all the available options at £220 (including the sports steering wheel). It's a no brainer.
