Chances are you will. The halogen draws draws a higher voltage than the HID. When car senses a lower voltage draw, it thinks that the halogens are out and cuts it off. The error cancellers are resistors, it will trick the car that its drawing the same amount of voltage as the halogen does. You can also switch terminals if it doesn't work right away.
