The interior ambient lights stay on while driving. Keep in mind the lights look a little extra "bright" in these photos. It doesn't look quite that bright to your eyes.
Of course, I have the Cinnamon Brown interior, so that would bring down the brightness a little too. Black interior would also mute the brightness a bit. Oyster would probably be blinding.
You know, that might be an interesting mod for Oyster interiors. Change the ambient lights to blacklights. Then your interior would glow!
