I updated my Professional Premium HDD satnav maps myself, paying only for the FSC code (extortionate license fee!) and it took under 30 mins to do so.
With the Apple Turn-By-Turn Navigation with Siri voice integration, I am not sure I will be doing so in the future as i may run the latest maps on my iPad or iPhone. I hope BMW offers consumers a choice of Navtech maps or the Apple maps through their integrated systems in due course.
