I know it's not much use to you folks over the water, but for product description, evaluation and utilisation you might like to check this excellent website: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/
As it happens they're very close to where I live; they're very knowledgeable and helpful people and don't try and force you to buy the most expensive thing on the shelf.
With the impending delivery of my white F10 in mind I sought their advice on the best way to protect and polish it; they recommended the following:
Protect and shine with Werkstat Acrylic Jett - £16
Post wash detail with Werkstat Acrylic Glos - £10
Seal wheels with 'Poorboy's' wheel sealant - £14
They're both spray-on/wipe-off products, apparently easy to use and I'm hoping they'll leave no white residue on the rubber.
Going by common consensus and advice from others on: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php, I've declined the dealer applied £300 'Supagard', so I'll get the car straight home, wash with Meguairs, get it in the garage, wheels off and get to work.
I'll post pictures when I'm done and await comment!
