My experience with Land Rover has been a mixed bag. They're incredibly capable SUVs... more than nearly anything on the road. However, reliability has been a big problem in my experience. My rover saw the dealer more times than I'd like to count. I'd like to go back to one (for the wife) at some point, but I'm still a bit gun shy. Plus, they're pretty darn big and terrible on gas.
