In my opinion, for such a seemingly innocuous option, shadowline trim totally transforms the appearance of the f10. At first glance eur500 for a few bits of exterior trim seems a waste but from pics I've seen on this forum that option (without shouting about it) really adds to the sportiness/agressiveness of the car. Do other members agree? Was this option even considered when you were mulling over you particular combinations?

I haven't seen an f10 with shadowline in the flesh but have decided to opt for it instead of USB- Dealer said I was mad not to go for USB and that shadowline trim had a tendency to go dull. I considered his advice carefully (for about 1 millisecond) and then ordered shadowline.
