I picked up mine in Germany and am waiting for it to be redelivered here at home in the states. I didn't reset the computer's fuel economy gauge while I was driving it in Germany. Drove over 1100Km, and from an indicated 1 mile on the odometer, the computer said 23.6mpg (didn't do the conversion to l/100Km). Some of that was at close to 160km/h on the autobahn, and some was crawling in the city, but there weren't too many short trips...generally, I was driving from one vacation spot to the next, and once there, mostly walked rather than drove. I expect with a few more miles, that the vehicle will improve. I did try to abide by the breakin rules from the manual - no high acceleration forced downshifts, and kept it below 100mph/160Km/h. That didn't keep me from cruising at nearly 100mph on the autobahn, though.
