Since I have an M550d with its signature titanium grilles and mirror caps, I want the option to revert back to stock when I replace the car in about a year. I plan to just make a straight swap at the BMW dealer so being able to retain the stock look is crucial.
Since I will probably get an LCI M550d next I want to bring these parts with me to the next one.
I have checked the price at GS, and the oem grilles are about 1200nok ($200) each.

Maybe I should look at eBay or something for used mirror caps and just have them painted.

The fender trim I have seen at several sponsors sites, so getting them is not a problem.
