Well I've just left it with BMW after escalating with customer services... and to my horror, they were still refusing to keep the car stating that BMW technical won't let them do a software update and it's the software on my phones!
I left my phone with them and said you can try it in every BMW you have in here and if doesn't work with one of them, then show me.
This is complete madness, and whilst I love the car, I'm seriously put off by the lack of after sales car - for a car that is barely 10 weeks old.
Anyways let's see what happens, but I have a sneaky feeling they won't (be able?) fix it.
