So the funny thing is that I have seen that post before, but my car actually does not have the red "alternate power supply" wire that they tap power for the JB4 from. Not sure if that red wire exists for a specific option in the car, but I don't have it.
That's actually why I'm having so much trouble finding one under the hood.
And Yes, I am looking for a keyed 12V source under the hood if possible.
