How were you applying the meguiars? With a microfiber towel? Might jus have to finish up the meguiars bottle and move on to chemical guys i jus like the simplicity of having a 2 in 1 of the meguiars cleaner& condtioner also. Might apply with a aplicator pad and see how that goes
